Dr. Tanikka Price Hosts Webinar Focused on the Community Health Worker Profession in Collaboration with Health Professionals Week

Last October, Health Impact Ohio became a member of the Health Professions Week 2022 Alliance Network. We are proud to share that we have continued our support and collaboration with Health Professions Week into 2023 highlighting the Community Health Worker (CHW) profession.

This month, Dr. Tanikka Price, Chief Education & Equity Officer, at Health Impact Ohio hosted an informative evening discussion on the Community Health Worker profession with an audience of health professionals, educators, and high school and college students from across the country. The webinar titled, “Community Health Workers: The Key to Addressing Health Disparities and Achieving Health Equity,” provided participants with an understanding of the unique role that Community Health Workers play in serving marginalized populations to improve equity and eliminate health disparities.

Watch the full video to learn about the amazing opportunities for both high school and college students to gain practical, hands-on experience as they explore the health profession.
